Awww, I feel so loved!! You all really do read my blog huh!!! :) :) :) Alright then, I'll blog, just not sure how often, or how much!

Here's a little update! I am moving "TOMORROW"!!! We are heading back over to the south side of Kokomo, closer to family! Also, a better location, that's closer to Chuck's work! Maybe now someone will actually come to visit me sometimes! Maybe!!

I am so not ready for this move though! I still have a million things I need to get done here, which is mainly laundry! I am a "BIG" slacker in that department! I've probably done 10 loads today, and all the clothes that's been stored in the garage (since we moved here) I finally went through them all, and there was clothes I don't even remember buying.. lol Wow, I feel like I've gotten a new wardrobe! Cool huh!! LOL

Anyway... Chuck is so silly, he thinks that by tomorrow night we are going to be staying in the new house!! I think "NOT"!! We don't even get the keys till 5:30, and then once we come back here and get a load of stuff, and unload it, it's going to start getting dark, and our beds aren't even ready to move for pete's sake! I am "NOT" sleeping on the dang floor! When I have a perfectly comfortable bed here!

Plus, I want to get a bunch of the smaller stuff moved, to get it out of the way to move the bigger stuff Saturday, when we have help, and the u-haul! I am not gonna try to kill myself all in one night! KWIM??

Anyway since I am gonna start blogging again, I am gonna go back, and delete some of the older stuff! I think I put to much info on my blog!! KWIM??

Anyway here's the update on my darling little boy!! He's still adorable of course!! *wink*Guess what!?! Baseball is "OVER"!! WOO HOO!! His team came in "FIRST" place at the park, and they got some nice big championship trophies... which he's mighty proud of! Plus, he was the #1 player in my book!! I didn't miss not one of his games, and he knows his Mama is his #1 fan!!
Can you all believe that in one month, and one day that my "BABY" is going to be a teenager???? *huge sigh* I don't want him to grow up, I want him to stay a little boy forever! They need to invent a new miracle drug to stop the growth of kids!! Adults to for that matter!! *hehehe*

Oh yeah... I just gotta mention that my new niece (Alyssa) will be making her grand appearance on September 25th, 2006 at approximately 7:30 am!!! I am so super excited!! I can hardly wait to get to see her, and hold her! I am also anxious to see how little Miss Abigal will do around her new baby sister! Seems she's told Nana (my Mom) "I don't want damn baby sisser"... *YIKES* They are gonna have their hands full for sure!!
I am sure though once the baby is here, and she sees the baby is staying she'll be all about having a baby sisser.. as she calls her!! :) She just has her days! Seems she will kiss my sister's belly, and tells everyone about the baby sisser!! LOL Plus, she's one of the few people that have actually got to fill her kick! I am not one of them lucky ones! :( My sister's babies don't like me till their out of there I guess... seems Abbie wouldn't ever let me feel her kicking either! Little stinker butt!!
I did feel like a horrible aunt today though, seems my Mommy brought me a fountain black raspberry sprite from my favorite place!!! :) Well, Abbie cried she wanted to stay with La-La.. :( :( :( I would have let her, but I just had so much stuff to get done here. I knew if she stayed nothing would get done, seems she's very high maintains! ;) But, I still love her to pieces! :D

Alright there.. I BLOGGED!!! I will try to update and blog when I can!! Hopefully my next blog will have some new pics of my new house too!!

Oh, and I am gonna leave you all with these adorable picture!! It's so my favorite right now!!

My babies!!!

Austin, and Emily!!!! & Austin getting Jacket!

Wow, it's been a while since my last blog session!! I am still trying to get the hang of this blogging!!! :D

So, Saturday was opening day at the ballpark, and quite exhausting if I do say so myself! I did get a tad bit of sun though!!! YAY for me!! Austin got his 12 year old jacket this year, and I might add he was "VERY" excited about getting it!!! They also won their first game 10-0 against the team that was the first place team last year, so "YAY" for them!!! Austin actually got the "WINNING" 10th run in to make them quite in the 4th inning for the 10 run rule too!!! He did "AWESOME"!!!!! I am so proud of him!

On a side note I got so ticked off at the ballpark because of "RUDE" people!! So, most of you all know I used to babysat for my cousin Jeremy, for his daughter Emily. Well, she's 5 years old now, and is playing T-ball this year at "OUR" ballpark, out of all the parks in the town! Well, Jeremy came up and talked to us, when we went to talk to Aunt Debbie, and let her see Austin in his uniform. Which she made the comment don't start nothing, when we asked where Emily was. Seems her other grandpa was holding her (her Mom's step-dad). Which was the "LAST" thing on my mind to start trouble, I just wanted to see my girl Miss Emily!

Anyway, we didn't go say a word to her, and she didn't see us talking to Debbie, or Jeremy. Well, after the opening ceremony, we was standing talking and Austin seen Emily swinging, so he went and seen her. Which I watched out of the corner of my eye as Emily's grandma (her Mom's mom... No relation) was just staring Austin down. I was hoping for her sake she didn't say anything to him, which good thing for her she didn't! Or else it would have been on like donkey kong... hehehe just had to add some humor to the story.. Well, then Austin all excited came over telling me "MOM.... MOM... MOM I seen Emily!!!" Which he loves Emily so "MUCH", seems she was with us from the time she was about 6 weeks till she was almost 2 non-stop, then off and on while she was 2 and 3 yrs. old.

Back-up a little bit here....

We had her a LOT more than anyone else including her MOM, GRANDMA or anyone else! There would be times she would spend up to 3 days at a time with us. I mean it was like she lived there! It got to the point to where she would cry when she had to leave us. Which since she was with us so much all my family got to see her a lot (Grandma, Mom... etc.) which they wouldn't have if I wasn't babysitting her, because her Mom is a witch like that. But, Emily knows we love her, and we tell her everytime we see her! :D

Ok back to the ballpark!

Austin pretty much drug me over to where Emily was playing, and said "She's getting ready to come down the slide!" So, as she came down we made eye contact, and I said "Hey YOU!!!" which she ran over to me yelling my name, and pretty much jumped into my arms! I couldn't help, but to hug her!! I kept it really short and sweet told her I loved her, and how cute she looked in her uniform, and then went back over to where my in-laws were standing so I wouldn't cause a scene. Seems since I quite baby-sitting her we are "NOT" allowed to see her anymore. Long STORY!!
Well, Austin played with her for a few minutes, and then headed back over to where I was. Well, about that time here came Emily following him. So, we was talking to her, asking her how she like playing ball, and I asked her if I could take a picture for Granny (my grandma, and their great-grandma) in their uniforms together. Which she agreed!! :D Well, I took a picture and we was just visiting with her. Well, then a few minutes later here came her other grandma (her Mom's Mom) and she grabbed her by the wrist and said "EXCUSE ME" really hateful, and Emily started crying, and Austin looked like his heart was broke! :(
Well, that not only ticked me off, it really ticked my in-laws off, because they know the whole story, and they got attached to Emily too because she was always with us! So, my MIL (mother-in-law) sad don't worry about it Austin, and then my FIL (father-n-law) spoke up really "LOUD", and said "Who the hell does she think she is!!!" I just said let's go!!! I didn't want drama at the ballpark, and the kids were already really upset! So, we ended up leaving, and then I told my Mom what happened, and she of course told my aunt Debbie which is her sister, and who is Emily's grandma (my cousin Jeremy's Mom). She was "TICKED" too, and said that if we "EVER" want to see Emily to let her know, and that we are more than welcome to come to any of her games, and to just come and sit with her!
Ok... Whatever it's a public place, and my "SON" also plays there, and has for the last 4 years we'll go there "ANYTIME" we choose too, and no one is going to stop us! If she didn't want to see us at the ballpark then she shouldn't have brought Emily to the ballpark that she knew we was at, which isn't even near her house! Really Emily shouldn't even be playing at that park. Also, all the T-ball games are played on the Major League field... same field Austin has "ALL" his games on. So, we are bound to run into them often! Seems the t-ball games are always right before the major league games.

Anywho... that was our exciting day at the ball park!!!

Suck icky weather, for such a "special" holiday... :( It started off really "NICE", and "SUNNY"!! Then we got some yucky storms it was hailing, and there was a tornado spotted a few miles away. Now, we've got flash flood warnings out till tomorrow sometime.

It was alright though we had a good time visiting with family, and the kiddos had a ball doing their egg hunt. There really wasn't much compition for Austin, and he ended up getting the most eggs, so he was such a sweetie, and shared his with the younger kids!!! Isn't that so sweet!!! I have such a good boy!!! :D Then my niece (Abbie) had her own little hunt, and she was so funny, got so excited when she seen an egg, and she caught on quick, and was running, and getting them, and then putting them in her bag!

Oh, and I felt so sick afterwards... I ate "WAY" to much!!! It was so yummy though! We had a cook-out at my grandma's and they made hambugers & cheeseburgers/hotdogs/brats, homemade potato salad, taco salad, mac-n-cheese, (I made) deviled eggs, and then Mom made a banana split cake!! YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY!!! Other than spending time with family, eating, and storms that's pretty much our whole day!! It was nice though I didn't have too cook!!

I do have a new want though!!!! hehehe I am going to try to get my doctor to refer me to a surgeon and see about having that Bariatric surgery done! I think I am enough over weight for them to do it, and our insurance to cover most of it. I am sick of being "FAT"!! :( Hubby said, he didn't think I'd be enough over weight, but with my height it says I am!! So, we'll see, hubby said he supports me in whatever it is I want to do, and if need be he'd take vacation time to take care of me!!! Although he said he "LOVES" me the way I am! Awwwww... but I don't love myself the way I am! So, I am gonna call the doctor, and see if they will refer me! My hubby thinks I have way to many "WANTS"!!! He still loves me though! :D

Happy EASTER to everyone who takes the time to read my boring blog!!!!

OK, so tell me "PLEASE"!!! What is it with preens (pre-teens), and thinking that coloring Easter eggs with their Mom, is "BORING"!!! I thought it would be fun, we went over to a friends house, with her kids and got all the stuff ready, and the boys decided that was "BORING", and didn't want anything to do with it! So, I ended stealing my niece (Abbie), and my friend's daughter who is 3yrs. and us "BORING MOMS" colored eggs!
How fun, trying to keep a 16 month old from wanting to put everything in her (Abbie) mouth! She was so funny though, she ended up looking like a big Easter egg herself, seems she had to put it on her belly, forehead, arms... Etc. Oh, and she was calling the egg, a ball!! lol Then what does she do?!? She takes two of her pretty eggs, and "BANGS" them together... hahaha Not, to mention one went flying across the table, so we only had 3 casualties! It was cute though, and she's so cute, yeah just a little (ok maybe a lot) prejudice over my girl baby!! :)
Well, I hope everyone has a very "BLESSED" Easter Sunday!!!

Yeah, so I stink at keeping my blog up to date!!! So, sue me!! LOL I am sure that not many people actually come and read my boring posts anyway...

Here's a little update of what's been going on around here. Austin is on Spring Break this week, and we've not really done much of anything, seems he's still grounded for his grade. We did finally break down though, and let him stay the night with Nana (my Mom) last night, so he could watch Narnia, which he's been really wanting to see. I had planned on doing some Spring cleaning... HA HA HA I managed to deep clean the living room, and that's about as far as I got! I so need to do my "MOUNTAIN" of laundry though... :( ICK!!

Well, as far as the hubby goes we haven't been talking much about fostering, but I have it wrote on the calendar in permanent BLACK marker, so it won't be missed!!! :D Which he's already agree to go to the classes. So, we'll see what happens there. *crossing my fingers* Other than that we've been getting along extremely "WELL"!!!! :D :D :D :D

Oh, and on Wednesday I had a visitor all the way from Kansas!!! She was actually visiting with her parents, and since she was up this way they came to see me too!! Yep, that's right Jen, Kira, and Sparky came to visit! She's so sweet!!! I really wish she could move here, seems we seem to have lots in common! She loves Pomeranians, scrapbooks, and is great company! Did I mention that her daughter (Kira) is adorable, and I just loved Sparky, as well as my Pommie girls (Libby, & Kasha) they've been fighting over him since he left!! :D We had fun while she was here, or at least I hope she did!

During her visit we ended up taking the kiddos to McDonald's Play place, and meeting up with Anna, and some of her kiddos, all the kids had a blast playing, and we got to chat somewhat. Seems we was watching the kids, and stuffing our faces! hehehe Then Anna ditched us, seems she still wasn't feeling to good from getting over the ickies. Then we came back here, and visited for a little while, but didn't seem like it was long enough, seems the kids were taking most of our attention. Which was to be expected with a 2 yr old (Kira), and a 16 month old (my niece Abbie), and then of course my ds Austin. Which he was a little saint helping out so much!! He also really liked Jen, or so he said after she left. He kept saying how cute Kira was too!!! :D I think she's his new friend seems she left him ride up front in her van on the way to, and from McDonald's. hehehe

Other than that we've really not done anything exciting at all. Just been home bodies, and enjoyed not having to wake up at the crack of dawn, minus Wednesday when Abbie stayed the night, and woke up bright and early!! But, hey I got a little nap when I laid down with her to give her a nap!! :)

Now, as for baseball season... UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGH!!!!!!!! I don't know "WHY" we went ahead and kept Austin on the same team he was on last year. We can "NOT" stand his manager/coach, nor can Austin. But he really wanted to be on the team with all his friends. So, we was hoping this year would be better seems it's not his first year in Majors, and he'd get to actually play more. Well, they had their first practice game the other day, and you will "NEVER" guess what that man had the nerve to do.... >:(

The team they was practicing against didn't have enough players.. Short "ONE", so they sent Austin over to help them out!!! UHHHHH Hello... Why not send one of the "NEW" kids over to help out?? That just kinda rubbed me the wrong way, seems normally when things like that happen, the coach will send over one of the kids that isn't too good, or like a sub. So, that was kinda like telling us that he really didn't care if he was on the team or not! Ok, so if that's the case "WHY" does he want to try to keep him another year?!?

You'd think if he thought he wasn't too good, then he'd just be glad that it was supposed to be his last year. But, seems the cut off date is Aug. 1st for Birthdays, and Austin will be 13 on Aug. 2nd he is "NOT" supposed to be able to play next year, but they are going to try to get it to where he can. Which I may just say "NOPE!!!!" unless this year gets a whole lot better!!! Seems their practice game last night he was subbed Austin an inning, and had him in fricking left field!! Which I think is a crock of crap, seems he tells Austin how "HE" wants him to play ball, instead of letting Austin do what he knows how to do, and it totally screws him up!

Like when he's up to bat Austin "NEVER" struck out, and also got a couple in the park home runs in minors, the way his daddy taught him to stand! Well, his coach makes him stand the way he wants him, and he strikes out every single time! Then if he tries to stand the way he knows how, and hits it, he gets yelled at! Which I don't think is fair! Which I have a chance to talk to Austin right before he bats, and I tell him stand like "YOU" know how to, he "ALWAYS" gets a good hit! But, if Donnie (his coach) is up there telling him to do this or that, it screws him up!

Oh did I mention too, that Donnie (his coach) has a very "BAD" temper with the kids as well, and I've "NEVER EVER" heard him praise any of the kids for doing something good!! Like example if they do a really good play, or something he will say something like well, you could have done this or that to make it better!!! Ugggh where is the encouragement? Then Lord how mercy if they mess up in the game at the end of the game he totally gripes them out!!! We times it one time last year, and he kept them kids in that dugout after the game for 40 minutes griping at them!

Oh, and on a side note, he's got a very "BAD" habit of using words that I don't think are appropriate! Like he told the kids he was "PISSED" off because of the way they was playing, and that they looked like the bad news bears!!! Then the kids were talking about how he told one of the kids he was being a dickhead!! I am sorry, but he would have made a comment to my "SON" like that I would have raised some fuss! We are just to the point right now, to where if Austin decides he doesn't want to play anymore, we are going to just let him quit. Seems he used to be "EXCITED" about going to get to play, and now he complains, and says he hates it! Even though he tells us he wants to go pro! I just hate to see one bad coach ruin his dream for him. KWIM?

Ok since I've griped enough now, I think I'll end the bloggin now!!!

Friday, March 31, 2006

Wow, I can't believe it's already "SPRING" Break! It officially starts tomorrow, and my darling son gets to spend the week at home with not other than "MOM"!!! Woo hoo for him!! It's just to bad he's grounded because of his grades. :( So, I am gonna be the "EVIL" and work his little hiney off Spring cleaning! Yay!! NOT!!! Now, I just wish my DH (not meaning dear right now) had a valid drivers license, so I didn't have to get up at the butt crack of dawn to take him to work! Maybe I'll make him go tomorrow (Friday) to get them!!! Hmmm.. not a bad idea! lol

Wednesday, January 04, 2006

OK, not even sure this is something I will do, or maybe I will who knows!?! So, here goes! I am Melissa, wife of Chuck, and Mom to Austin. I live in Indiana, born, and pretty much raised here! I am currently 29, and don't plan on turning 30... "EVER"!!! So, I celebrated my final birthday last Sept. 6th, 2005!!! :)
I am so unfamiliar with this whole bloggin thing, so bare with me as I learn it! Oh... The things that your friends get you into!! You know who you are too!!!
